Is Babylon still inhabited today? The answer is no, but the archaeological site reopened to visitors in 2009. Unfortunately, after enduring years of destruction, the remnants of the ancient ruins are quite limited. Nonetheless, visitors can view the reconstructed sections that were commissioned by Saddam Hussein.
