Can I pray with my eyes?

Praying with Open Eyes

When Jesus looked up to heaven, he prayed, saying, “Father, glorify me so that I might glorify you” (John 17:1). Notice that he prayed with his eyes open. This indicates that if Jesus could pray this way, we can as well. The scripture does not require us to close our eyes when we pray.
