Understanding Allah's Perspective on Sinners

In addressing the kinds of sinners that Allah disapproves of, Al-Haafiz Ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him) remarked that those who commit sins in a blatant and overt manner provoke the anger of their Lord, who will not shield them. Conversely, if someone keeps their sins private due to a sense of modesty both before Allah and in the sight of others, then Allah will graciously conceal their sins.
