Many individuals infected with rubella experience few or sometimes no noticeable symptoms. The rubella rash typically persists for approximately three days. Additionally, swollen lymph nodes can remain enlarged for a week or longer, and some may experience joint pain that lasts beyond two weeks. Generally, children tend to recover from rubella within one week, while adults may take a bit longer to fully recuperate.
