Does God own our money?

Recognizing God's Ownership

All wealth, authority, and strength that we possess ultimately stem from God. The same applies to any skills or abilities we might have (see James 1:17; 1 Corinthians 12:1-11). Our capacity to give generously is also a gift from Him (as stated in Deuteronomy 8:18; 2 Corinthians 9:10-11). Therefore, everything we have, along with all of creation, belongs to Him.
