Al-Razi was known for his generosity and kindness towards his patients, treating them with great compassion and often providing care without charging them. In his later years, he suffered from cataracts in both eyes, which ultimately led to his blindness. He passed away in Al Rayy on October 27, 925, at the age of 60.
