The Expedition of Tabuk, referred to as the Expedition of Usra, was a military campaign led by the Islamic prophet Muhammad in October of 630 CE (AH 9). He commanded a force comprising up to 30,000 individuals as they marched northward to Tabuk, located near the Gulf of Aqaba in what is now northwestern Saudi Arabia.
