Full-ride scholarships are extremely rare, with only around 0.1% of students receiving them (Wignall, 2021). Similarly, full-tuition scholarships are also scarce, awarded to just about 1.5% of students (ThinkImpact, 2021). A typical high school student might qualify for anywhere between 50 to 100 different scholarships (Dickler, 2021).
