Is Cairo safe?

The Foreign Office currently does not advise against traveling to Cairo. This guidance has remained consistent following the joint airstrikes by the US and UK on Houthi positions in Yemen in January and February 2024, as well as in the wake of the heightened airstrikes involving Israel and Hezbollah in September 2024.
