Burying Animals in Islam

In Islam, the practice of shrouding and burying the deceased is primarily a duty for humans and is considered an act of worship. In the case of animals, however, these rituals are not obligatory. When an animal passes away, its remains are deemed ritually impure (najis), and Muslims are instructed to avoid direct contact with the carcass. It is preferable to dispose of the body in a manner that ensures it does not pose a risk or harm to others.
