Is the Evil Eye Recognized in Islam?

As per hadith, Prophet Muhammad acknowledged the existence of the evil eye, which is often associated with feelings of jealousy or envy. This phenomenon is believed to have the potential to inflict harm or bring about misfortune. Notably, in 20 of the 39 countries examined, at least half of the Muslim population expressed their belief in the evil eye.
