Current Safety Status of Cairo

There are currently no travel warnings issued for major tourist areas in Egypt, including Cairo, the cities along the Nile such as Luxor and Aswan, and the beachfront resorts on the Red Sea like Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada. The UK government regards all these locations as safe for visitors.
