The Quran clearly advises against having girlfriends or boyfriends. The term Muhsanat refers to individuals who are chaste and pure, meaning they do not engage in zina, or unlawful sexual relations. As such, those who are seen as musafihat—a term used to describe promiscuous women—are not fulfilling the standards of modesty and purity that are emphasized in Islam. These individuals are characterized by their willingness to partake in immoral actions without reservation.
