Items such as tight jeans, short tops, sleeveless dresses, ribbed T-shirts, mini-skirts, and knee-length dresses worn without pants are generally considered inappropriate. If a woman chooses to wear a veil (Burqah), she should feel encouraged in doing so, as it represents a commitment to piety and awareness of Allah (Taqwa).
