Marriage between Humans and Jinn

The majority of scholars agree that marrying a jinn is considered haraam. Specifically, many scholars from the Hanafi school state that such a union is prohibited. Imam Zuhri (Rah) reported that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) explicitly forbade marriage with jinn.
