The fossilized trees displayed in Hintze Hall originate from four distinct geological periods, with ages spanning from a Devonian specimen aged 385 million years to another tree that is between 25 and 56 million years old. Additionally, there is a remarkable 330-million-year-old fossil tree that showcases the ancient history of these living organisms.
