Once a person has passed away, there is no further need for repentance. Death marks the conclusion of one’s penalty for sin. As stated in Romans 6:7, 'For the one who has died has been acquitted from his sin.' Furthermore, Romans 6:23 tells us, 'For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is everlasting life through Christ Jesus our Lord.'
