Understanding Haram Names

It is prohibited to adopt any names that are exclusively associated with Allah, such as al-Khaliq (the Creator) and al-Quddus (the Most Holy). Additionally, names that can only rightfully pertain to Allah, like Malik al-Muluk (King of Kings), are also considered forbidden. This viewpoint is widely accepted among scholars (fuqaha).
