Abu Sufyan was regarded as "the finest among Muslims," and "nothing negative was attributed to him." The Prophet Muhammad granted him a pension of 100 wasqs from the bounty of Khaybar. Just three days prior to his passing, Abu Sufyan prepared his own grave in Al-Baqi Cemetery, situated close to the residence of Aqil ibn Abi Talib.
