Musical Instruments Permitted for Muslims

Some Muslims hold the view that playing drums is allowed, while they restrict the use of other musical instruments. According to Zakir Naik, all musical instruments are considered haram, with the exception of two: the daf, which is a traditional one-sided drum, and the tambourine. These instruments are referenced in Hadith as well.
