Meaning of Kun in Arabic

The term Kun in Arabic represents the concepts of "manifesting", "existing", or "being". In the Quran, Allah instructs the universe to simply "Be" (Kun), which then transitions to "it is" (Fayakūn). My belief in the essence of Being and its manifestation makes this notion especially resonant for me.
