Qohaito is a pre-Aksumite settlement that flourished during the Aksumite era. Situated at an elevation of over 2,500 meters in the Debub region of Eritrea, this ancient city holds great historical significance. To the east of Qohaito lies the ancient port of Adulis. Qohaito remains one of the most important archaeological sites in Eritrea.
