The average daily attendance (ADA) is calculated by taking the total number of days students are present and dividing it by the number of instructional days within a given timeframe. This measurement represents an unweighted ADA. For instance, if a student participates every day, it counts as one ADA. The TSDS ADA is computed using this unweighted approach.
