The wavelength of a standing wave can be related to the length of the string. Given that one half a wavelength is represented on the string, we have the equation λ = 2L. Here, L signifies the length of the string at its equilibrium position. Refer to Figure 8.8.2 for an illustration of harmonics for two fixed ends.
