An electric generator operates on the principles of electromagnetism. It consists of a series of insulated wire coils arranged in a stationary cylinder known as the stator. This stator encases an electromagnetic shaft, referred to as the rotor. When the rotor is rotated, it induces an electric current to flow through each segment of the wire coil, transforming each segment into an individual electric conductor.
