Discovering the Bendir

The Bendir, sometimes referred to as an erbani, is a drum crafted with a wooden frame. Though it has a broad circumference with relatively short sides, its appearance can initially resemble that of a tambourine. However, unlike a tambourine, the Bendir lacks jingles for shaking. Instead, it produces a rich array of sounds through various hand techniques and movements.
