Toxic pride arises when we employ a mental filter in a counterproductive way, disregarding all of our negative traits while focusing solely on our positive aspects. This mindset often leads us to evaluate others as lesser individuals due to a few areas where we may excel. Such behavior contributes to the development of toxic pride.
