Dua Kumayl's Origin
Kumayl ibn Ziyad was a significant figure from Kufa, Iraq. He was known for his vocal opposition to the Rashidun caliph Uthman (r. 644–656), which led to his exile in Hims, Syria. Following Uthman's assassination in 656 CE, he became a close companion of the new caliph Ali in Medina.
