Sidi Maulah was a notable Sufi saint and a devoted disciple of Sheikh Farid-ud-din. He managed a significant khanaqah where many sought spiritual guidance. However, he faced accusations of conspiring with certain chieftains to assassinate Jalaluddin Khalji and instigate a rebellion. As a result of these allegations, Jalaluddin ordered his execution, and he met his end at the hands of an elephant.
