Who is the Forest God?
Silvanus (/sɪlˈveɪnəs/; which translates to "of the woods" in Latin) served as a Roman protective deity overseeing woods and uninhabited terrains. Known as the guardian of the forest (sylvestris deus), he had a particular affinity for plantations and took pleasure in the natural growth of trees.
