Overview of the Lead Character

In the inaugural season, following the tragic death of his girlfriend caused by one of The Seven, who is led by the arrogant and volatile Homelander (played by Antony Starr), Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid) becomes involved with Billy Butcher (Karl Urban). Butcher, who harbors a deep-seated hatred for all superpowered individuals, recruits Hughie to join the vigilante group known as The Boys.
