Exemptions from Zakat Fitrah

A person who passes away before sunset, as well as a child born after sunset on the eve of the first of Syawal, is not required to pay Zakat Fitrah. This obligation falls on the individual and extends to their dependents, which include their spouse, children who have not yet reached maturity, and parents.
