Overview of Hind bint ʿAwf

Hind bint ʿAwf (Arabic: هند بنت عوف) served as a mother-in-law to Muhammad on two occasions. Renowned for being a mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother to several of Muhammad's companions, she earned the title of the "grandest mother-in-law on earth." Additionally, she was commonly referred to as Khawlah.
