Horus in Egyptian Mythology
Horus was revered as the god of the sky in ancient Egypt and also held the title of pharaoh. He was the sole offspring of the prominent deities Osiris and Isis, who are key figures in the Egyptian mythology. Driven by a desire for vengeance for his father's murder, Horus fought to claim the throne of Egypt. Although he succeeded in becoming pharaoh, his uncle Set inflicted great harm upon him during their struggle for power.
