Defeating the Dajjal

Muslims hold the belief that both ʿĪsā and the Mahdi will eradicate wrongdoing, injustice, and oppression, bringing about an era of peace and serenity. Ultimately, it is foretold that the Mahdi and ʿĪsā will confront the Dajjal at the gate of Lud, where, upon encountering him, the Dajjal will begin to dissolve slowly, much like salt dissolving in water.
