Why Did God Adopt Us?

God adopted us not out of necessity, nor because he perceived any goodness in us that could serve him. In truth, what he saw were rebellious individuals who have turned away from him. Nevertheless, he chose to adopt us purely out of profound love, as noted in Ephesians 1:4-5. Such a love transcends human comprehension!
