Understanding Electric Shock

When a person or an object accumulates excess electrons, it generates a negative charge. These surplus electrons are naturally drawn to the positive charges (since opposites attract) of another object or individual, and the reverse is also true. The sensation of shock that we occasionally experience is caused by the rapid movement of these electrons.
