Why do we give thanks to God?

Giving Thanks to God

Expressing gratitude helps us to recognize the myriad of blessings in our lives, both large and small. Each day, our Heavenly Father generously bestows upon us His mercy and grace. At times, we are aware of His presence and works; other moments may pass us by unnoticed. Taking a moment during a challenging day to say, 'Thank you, Jesus, for the blessings both big and small,' shifts our attention from our immediate circumstances to our Creator.
