Why does God allow suffering?

Why Suffering Exists

God permits suffering because it arises as a consequence of sin. Sin occurs due to the gift of free will that God has granted us. Although God is against sin and supports us in overcoming it when we choose to seek His help, the existence of free will, rooted in His love for us, allows for the possibility of sin.
