The Most Beautiful Friday Prayers

Friday is considered a blessed day, and it is an excellent opportunity for Muslims to offer prayers for themselves and their loved ones. This day includes a moment when supplications are particularly accepted. Below are some of the most beautiful prayers that Muslims can recite on Friday, as well as on other days:

Exquisite Praises

It is recommended to begin one’s prayers with praises for Allah (Exalted and Glorious), and here are some fitting supplications for this purpose:

  • Praise be to Allah, from whom we seek no other favor, and there is no provider besides Him. Allah is the Greatest; nothing is comparable to Him, neither in the heavens nor on earth, for He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.
  • O Allah, we praise You abundantly, filling the heavens, the earth, and everything between them, and filling whatever You wish beyond that.
  • There is no deity but Allah, affirming His lordship. Glory be to Allah, in humility to His greatness; there is no power and no strength except through Allah, the Most High, the Great.
  • In the name of Allah, we rise in the morning and retire in the evening. I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah, and Muhammad is His Messenger, that paradise is true, hell is true, that the Hour is coming without doubt, and that Allah will raise those in the graves.
  • O Allah, I ask You for Your praise; there is no deity but You, the Compassionate, the Generous. You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Majestic and the Gracious; have mercy on me, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
  • We believe in Your Book which You revealed and Your Prophet whom You sent; forgive us for what we have done in the past and in the future, for what we have concealed and what we have manifested. You know what we do not know; You are the Initiator, the Inheritor, and You are capable of all things.
  • O Allah, Light of the heavens and the earth, Pillar of the heavens and the earth, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Judge of the heavens and the earth, Inheritor of the heavens and the earth, Owner of the heavens and the earth, Greatness of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the heavens and the earth, Sustainer of the heavens and the earth, Merciful in this world, and Merciful in the Hereafter.
  • O Allah, I praise You with a great, good, and blessed praise. O Allah, I praise You as is befitting to the majesty of Your face and the greatness of Your authority. I praise You according to the number of Your creations, Your satisfaction, the weight of Your Throne, and the ink of Your words. O Allah, I praise You until You are satisfied, and I praise You for Your satisfaction.
  • There is no deity but Allah, the True King, there is no deity but Allah, the Just Certainty. There is no deity but Allah, our Lord and the Lord of our forefathers. Glory be to You! Indeed, I was among the wrongdoers. There is no deity but Allah, alone without a partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is Alive and does not die. In His hand is all good, and to Him is the final return. He is capable of all things.
  • Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is no deity but Allah, Allah is the Greatest; to Allah be praise. I seek forgiveness from Allah for a number equal to His creations, for His satisfaction, the weight of His Throne, and the ink of His words.

Beautiful Prayers for Oneself

Here are some lovely supplications that a Muslim can offer for themselves on Friday:

  • O Allah, do not deprive me of the vastness of Your mercy, the abundance of Your blessings, the completeness of Your wellness, and the generosity of Your gifts. Do not withhold Your gifts from me due to my shortcomings, do not deal with me according to my vile actions, and do not turn Your noble face away from me, with Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
  • O Allah, I ask You in my prayer and supplication for blessings that purify my heart, alleviate my sorrow, forgive my sins, rectify my affairs, enrich my poverty, remove my evils, dispel my worries and grief, heal my ailments, and settle my debts, bring clarity to my sadness, unify my affairs, and brighten my countenance, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
  • O Allah, I have submitted to You, I believe in You, I rely on You, I contend through You, and I seek Your judgment. Forgive me for what I have done in the past and in the future, for what I have hidden and what I have revealed. You are the Initiator and the Inheritor; there is no deity but You, the First, the Last, the Manifest, and the Hidden. I rely on You, and You are the Lord of the Great Throne.
  • O Allah, I implore You, O Reliever of distress, O Remover of grief, O Answerer of the supplications of the distressed, O Merciful in this world and the Hereafter, grant me mercy through Your compassion.
  • O Allah, forgive my sins and mistakes. O Allah, forgive me and grant me healing, pardon me, guide me to Your straight path, and have mercy on me, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
  • O Allah, to You I extend my hands, with the height of my desire for You within them. Accept my repentance, have mercy on my weakness, forgive my sins, accept my apology, and grant me a share of every good, guiding me to every good path, through Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

Beautiful Prayers for Loved Ones and All Muslims

Here are some beautiful supplications suitable for family, loved ones, and all Muslims:

  • O Allah, do not turn away from us on the day we meet You. O Allah, do not drive us away from Your door; who do we have, our Lord, if You cast us away, O Lord of the worlds, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
  • O Allah, do not hold us accountable for the actions of the foolish among us. O Allah, do not treat us as we deserve; treat us as You are worthy of.
  • O Allah, there is no guide for the one You have led astray, no giver for the one You have withheld from, no withholder for the one You have granted, no opener for the one You have closed, no promoter for the one You have delayed, and no delay for the one You have advanced.
  • O Allah, You are the Rich and we are the poor; send us rain and do not make us among those who despair.
  • O Allah, send us the rain of faith in our hearts, and do not withhold Your mercy from us, O Lord of the worlds.
  • O Allah, You are the Living, the Sustainer, the Lord of Glory and Honor, guide us among those You have guided, grant us well-being among those You have granted well-being, and divert us from the evil You have decreed through Your mercy. Indeed, You decree with truth, and none can decree over You.
  • O Lord, on this Friday, You promised Your servants that their supplications would be accepted. I pray for a heart dear to mine; O Allah, provide it with what it seeks, and fulfill its desires. Make it as You wish, O Allah, decree it for them before the sun sets on Friday.
  • O Allah, grant us the delight of gazing upon Your noble face and a longing to meet You without being led astray, misguiding others, or being misled; O Allah, shade us under Your shade on the Day when there is no shade except Yours.
  • O Allah, You who commands between “Be” and “It is,” and O Most Merciful of the merciful, make the reader of this message happy in both worlds, and during the negligence of others, bring them back to You. Forgive their mother who bore them and the father who raised them well; grant them the highest abode in Paradise.
  • O Allah, forgive all Muslims, the living and the deceased, and admit them into Your gardens, and spare them from Your punishment.
  • O Allah, O Living, O Sustainer, and Lord of Glory and Honor, I ask You by Your most sublime, pure, and blessed name, the one most beloved to You, that when invoked, You respond; when mercy is sought, You grant it; and when relief is sought, You give it, to make us among the accepted in this world and speed us to the highest ranks of Your presence.
  • O Allah, grant us Your love and the love of those who love You. O Allah, do not let us be deprived of Your grace and mercy due to our sins, O Most Merciful of the merciful and Most Generous of the Generous. O Allah, do not let those who do not fear You in us or show us mercy control us because of our sins.
  • O Allah, You are the Patient; do not hasten; You are the Generous; do not withhold; You are the Mighty; do not humiliate; You are the Invulnerable; do not be defeated; You are the Protector; do not let us be harmed; and You are capable of all things.
