The Dubai Mall
The Dubai Mall stands as an enormous shopping center located in the heart of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is part of the iconic Burj Khalifa complex, which has an impressive total investment of $20 billion. Inaugurated in 2008, the mall hosts over 600 retail outlets and features a cinema with 22 screens, a replica of London’s Regent Street, and an Olympic-sized ice skating rink, among a myriad of attractions. Occupying a total area of approximately 12.1 million square feet, it is recognized as the largest shopping center in the world by overall size. Since its opening, the mall has become the most frequented shopping destination, drawing more than 54 million visitors as per 2011 statistics.
Mall of the Emirates
Covering an area of around 2.4 million square feet, the Mall of the Emirates houses 630 retail stores, alongside more than 100 dining options and 330 luxury boutiques. This shopping haven also offers a range of family-friendly entertainment options, including Ski Dubai, a theater, an arts center, amusement parks, and Magic Planet. The mall first opened its doors in November 2005.
BurJuman Mall
BurJuman Mall is among the most popular shopping destinations in Dubai, showcasing the finest luxury fashion brands and well-known global labels within the Bur Dubai area, a blend of commercial and cultural facets of the city. Like many other malls in Dubai, BurJuman focuses on providing a luxurious shopping experience. Additionally, it features the latest VOX Cinemas with 14 screens and numerous outlets from internationally recognized brands.
Deira City Centre
Deira City Centre was the first flagship shopping center in the Majid Al Futtaim group, part of a collection of twelve malls within the downtown area. Located in the older part of Dubai, at the intersection between Sharjah and Bur Dubai near the airport, this shopping complex opened in August 1995. The center spans two levels, mirroring the size and design of the Mall of the Emirates, featuring 370 stores and approximately 3,600 parking spaces.
