Consequences of the Hiroshima Bombing
The United States deliberately targeted Hiroshima and Nagasaki to gauge the devastating impact of the nuclear bomb, which was derived from the process of uranium fission. The destructive consequences included:

Overall, the destructive power of the Little Boy bomb resulted in approximately 80,000 fatalities in Hiroshima, which constituted about 30% of the city’s populace. An additional 70,000 individuals sustained severe injuries, while the ongoing medical resource shortages exacerbated the humanitarian crisis.
