Clarification of Articulation
Articulation refers to the pronunciation of a letter from its rightful place without the presence of a conspicuous nasal sound, pause, silence, or accentuation on the pronounced letter. There are six letters involved in this process: the glottal stop (ء), ha (هـ), ‘ain (ع), ha (ح), ghain (غ), and kha (خ). These can occur within a single word or across multiple words.

Assimilation
Assimilation occurs when a silent ‘n’ or tanween meets one of the assimilation letters, which are grouped in the word ” يَرْمَلُون” (Yarmaloon). This conjunction creates a single, pronounced letter that is stressed similarly to the second letter. Assimilation can happen in totality or partially, with or without nasal sound, either within a single word or between two words.
