The Importance of Supplication and Its Etiquette
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) encouraged supplication as a means for believers to draw closer to Allah. It is essential for Muslims to adhere to certain etiquettes when making supplications, which include: expressing gratitude and praises to Allah, sending blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), demonstrating firm belief in the responsiveness of Allah, being persistent in one’s requests, humbling oneself before Allah, and acknowledging one’s own shortcomings.
