Abo Turab
Abo Turab is a title referring to Ali ibn Abi Talib – may Allah be pleased with him – who was the cousin of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the husband of his daughter Fatimah. One day, the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to his home but did not find Ali. Instead, he encountered Fatimah, who informed him that her husband had left due to a disagreement. The Prophet then searched for Ali and found him resting in the mosque, covered in some dust. The Prophet called out to him, saying: “Get up, O Abo Turab, get up, O Abo Turab.”
Ali ibn Abi Talib
Ali – may Allah be pleased with him – was the first young man to embrace Islam alongside the Prophet (peace be upon him). He participated in nearly all of the battles with the Prophet, demonstrating exceptional bravery. Ali was among those promised Paradise, and during the Battle of Khaybar, he was chosen by the Prophet to carry the banner. The Prophet prayed for him on numerous occasions, highlighting his remarkable judgment; his wisdom became legendary. One of the most notable acts of bravery from Ali was when he risked his life to protect the Prophet during the Hijra, sleeping in his place to mislead the enemies. He was one of the few who remained steadfast with the Prophet during the Battle of Uhud, and he also witnessed the Pledge of Ridwan. As one of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, he was the father of Hassan and Hussain, the leaders of the youth in Paradise.
