Prayers for Myself from the Quran and Sunnah

- (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, senility, and the torment of the grave. O Allah, grant my soul its piety, for You are the best of those who purify it. You are its protector and its guardian. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, a heart that does not humble, a soul that is not satisfied, and a supplication that is not answered.)
Prayers for Parents and Children from the Quran and Sunnah
There are several prayers found in the Quran and the Sunnah specifically intended for one’s parents and offspring. These include:

Prayers for the Deceased from the Quran and Sunnah

- (O Allah, so-and-so, son of so-and-so, is under Your care and protection; safeguard him from the trial of the grave. O Allah, You are the best at fulfilling promises and deserving of praise; forgive him and have mercy, for You are the Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.)
- (O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, our young and our old, our male and female, our witnesses and those absent. O Allah, whoever You keep alive from us, keep him alive in faith, and whoever You take away, take him in Islam. O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward and do not let us go astray after him.)
- (Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or made an error. Our Lord, lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.)

Prayers for Forgiveness from the Quran and Sunnah
The Quran and the Sunnah contain many prayers for seeking forgiveness, including the following:

- (Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to faith: ‘Believe in your Lord,’ and we have believed. - (O my Lord, forgive my sins and ignorance, and my excesses in my affairs, and what You know better about me. O Allah, forgive my mistakes, my intentional and unintentional errors, and all my sins. O Allah, forgive me what I have done in haste and what I have delayed, what I have concealed and what I have revealed. You are the All-Prevailing, the All-Accepting of Repentance, and You have power over all things.)
- (O Allah, indeed I have wronged myself greatly, and no one forgives sins except You. So forgive me, a forgiveness from Yourself, and have mercy upon me; indeed, You are the Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.)
