Morning Prayers for Friday

Morning Prayers for Friday

Prayer holds a significant place in the life of a Muslim, providing a channel to express one’s wishes and hopes. While there are no specific prayers designated for the morning of Friday, we present some well-known and general supplications below:

  • (We have entered the morning and the sovereignty belongs to Allah. All praise is due to Allah; there is no deity but Him. He is alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs the praise, and He has power over all things. O Lord, I ask You for the best of this day and the best of what follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil of what follows it. O Lord, I seek refuge with You from laziness and the trials of old age, and I seek refuge in You from punishment in the Fire and punishment in the grave.)
  • (O Allah, grant us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.)
  • (O Allah, I bear witness that I have entered this morning and I bear witness to Your Throne Bearers, Your Angels, and all of Your creation that You are Allah; there is no deity except You, and Muhammad is Your servant and Messenger.)
  • (O Allah, You are the Forgiving, the Generous, You love forgiveness, so forgive me.)
  • O Allah, on this Friday morning, grant us a prayer that is not rejected, bless us with sustenance that is abundant, and open for us a gate to Paradise that is never closed.
  • O Allah, protect us above the earth, protect us below the earth, and protect us on the Day of Judgment.
  • O Allah, I deposit my heart with You, so do not allow anyone else to occupy it.
  • O Allah, on this Friday morning, I seek refuge in You from the removal of Your blessings, the loss of health, sudden wrath, and all forms of Your displeasure.
  • O Allah, I ask You for a pure life, a good death, and a return that is not disgraceful or embarrassing.
  • O Allah, I seek refuge in You from a heart that does not humble itself, from a prayer that is not heard, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from knowledge that is not beneficial.
  • O Allah, instill in us the love of Your best creation, grant us to drink from the pool of Your Prophet, and encompass us with Your mercy.
  • O Allah, grant us a good end in all matters and protect us from the disgrace of this world and the punishment of the Hereafter.

  • O Allah, replace their home with a better one than theirs, a family better than their own, and admit them into Paradise, while sheltering them from the torment of the grave and the torment of the Fire.
