- (O Allah, I bear witness that You are Allah, there is no deity but You, the One, the Eternal, who neither begets nor is born, and there is none comparable to You.)
- (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and sadness, incapacity and laziness, stinginess and cowardice, the pressure of debt, and the oppression of men.)
- (O Allah, I ask You for the good of what You have commanded and seek refuge in You from the evil of what You have commanded.)
- (O Allah, I seek from all good whose treasures are in Your hands and seek refuge in You from all evil whose treasures are in Your hands.)
- (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from stinginess, from cowardice, from being returned to the lowest age, from the trials of this world – meaning the trial of the Antichrist – and from the punishment of the grave.)
- (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the loss of Your blessings, the decline of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your wrath, and all aspects of Your displeasure.)
- (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my actions and from the evil of what I have not done.)
- (O Allah, place light in my heart, light in my vision, light in my hearing, light to my right, light to my left, light above me, light below me, light before me, light behind me, and grant me light.)
- (O Allah, You have made my creation beautiful, so enhance my character.)
- (O Allah, protect me in Islam whether I am standing, sitting, or sleeping, and do not give my enemy or envious person cause for rejoicing at my expense.)
- (O Allah, let me live as long as life is good for me, and take my soul when death is better for me.)
- (O Allah, help us to be grateful to You, to remember You, and to worship You beautifully.)
- (O Allah, provide for me through what is lawful and keep me away from what is forbidden, and make me rich through Your grace above all.)

Etiquettes of Supplication
A Muslim should adhere to a set of etiquettes when invoking Allah. These include being a monotheist, being sincere in the supplication, expressing gratitude to Allah before asking for their desires, facing the qibla, beginning with salutations upon the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him), raising their hands, and having certainty in the response to their prayers.
