Ahlam Al-Shamsi is an Emirati singer, born in February 1968. She is married to Qatari businessman Mubarak Al-Hajri, a champion in Qatari rally racing. Together, they have three children: Fahd, Fatima, and Lulwa. Although her real name, according to her passport, is Maitha, she is widely known by her stage name Ahlam, a name given to her by her father. Ahlam initially pursued Islamic Sharia studies but did not complete her education before shifting her focus to music and singing.
