Supplications for Increased Blessings
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized, “Dua (supplication) is worship.” Muslims are encouraged to call upon Allah in any manner they wish, as there are no specific prayers designated solely for the purpose of increasing blessings. Below are several supplications that one may consider:
- “O Allah, Master of the Kingdom! You give the kingdom to whom You will and take away the kingdom from whom You will. You honor whom You will and humble whom You will. In Your hand is all good; indeed, You have power over all things.”
- “O Allah, grant us blessings in our sustenance, time, and work.”
- “O Allah, I praise You with abundant praise and thank You with a gratitude that befits Your majesty and great sovereignty.”
- “O Allah, to You belongs all praise and gratitude, as it should be for Your majestic face and great authority.”
- “O Allah, suffice me with what is permissible instead of what is prohibited, and enrich me with Your bounty from others.”
- “O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the mighty Throne, relieve us of our debts.”
- “O Allah, You of vast mercy, grant us what brings joy to our hearts and suffices us from asking others, for indeed, You are the Most Generous, the Most Merciful.”
Supplications for Increased Provision
It is commendable for Muslims to turn to Allah in every matter. While there is no specific prayer for increasing provision, the following supplications can be recited, and they may be modified as desired:
- “Allah is sufficient for us; He will give us from His bounty, and His Messenger. Indeed, we seek Allah’s support.”
- “O Allah, O Ever-living, O Sustainer, O Possessor of majesty and honor, I ask You by Your most glorious name to grant me abundant, lawful, and pure provision; by Your mercy, O Most Merciful.”
- “O Allah, I invoke You as one in dire need, weakened and out of options; O Rescuer, aid me and bless me with abundant provision.”
- “O Allah, provide us with lawful, pure, and blessed sustenance, as You love and are pleased with, O Lord of the worlds.”
- “O Allah, grant me beneficial knowledge, abundant provision, and healing from every ailment, O You who provides for whom You will without account.”
- “O Allah, encompass me with a mercy that makes me self-sufficient from all others.”
